Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Excites Fans With a Huge Star Wars Day Reveal

Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga was released on April 5th 2022. It was one of the most anticipated releases of the year as the franchise had delayed the game multiple times over the years. The TT company’s game is now available for users on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and Microsoft Windows.

Furthermore, The Skywalker Saga allows the players to experience the adventure-packed world of Star Wars. The developers have recreated every film with LEGO’s trademark wackiness while allowing players to have a realistic experience in the Star Wars universe. 

May the 4th be with you

Throughout the world, May 4th is considered a Star Wars Day. The lawmakers of California declared it to honor the grand opening of Disneyland’s Galaxy’s Edge. On this day, we see fans using hashtags and posting, ‘May the force be with you.’ Keeping in mind the importance of the day, Lego announced a brand new DLC for its latest title. It won’t be wrong to say that the force is truly with us! 

The franchise released a trailer for the same that introduced new characters from the Disney+ series, The Bad Batch. They mainly include Hunter, Tech, and Echo. On the other hand, it also features some of the main characters from The Mandalorian including the most loved, Boba Fett, Fennec, and Bo Katan. Additionally, the trailer also features some characters from Solo and Rogue One. They have officially released the DLC in the game allowing players to buy it for $20.

Fans had mixed reactions to the release as they found many bugs. Here’s what they had to say.

The Skywalker Saga became the biggest launch of TT games in the history of Lego games. Warner Bros. has also confirmed it as the game sold 3.2 million copies in the first week of its release. So, regardless of what the future beholds, the franchise is doing pretty well at the moment.
