The new Call of Duty Warzone 2 is all set to take you on a trip down memory lane

With season 3 soon to be released, the franchise has dazzled fans with some exciting news. Call of Duty’s official handle on Twitter claimed the revival of Resurgence, the popular COD mode that once featured in Warzone and Cold War. Fans will be able to access this mode in the Al Mazrah map along with night mode in MW2 adding anytime soon. What makes the latter one of the most loved updates, is that it was featured in 2019. So, hunting down enemies in the dark is something that fans are eagerly looking forward to.

For those uninitiated, fans saw Resurgence in season 2, and it had a similar battle-royale vibe just like the original game. Users had to drop in and fight for glory while running in from the zone and be the last man standing. But then, here’s the catch:

  • Players can respawn after death assuming other teammates are still alive. The traditional mechanic would instead have them die permanently or be sent to the Gulag to fight for a second chance.
  • Only up to 50 players can partake in this mode.
  • The map is slightly smaller than normal maps, accommodating 150 players.
  • Respawns are disabled near the end of the match, adding a new layer of thrill and pressure.

However, there are some other significant changes that gamers can also look out for before entering fully into season 3. The “Night Mode” will be a tough competition to Adal map. Now, let’s take a look at how the community reacted.

Last but not least, COD’s official Twitter page has urged fans to keep an eye on April 7 as they are about to launch a full-fledged roadmap for the upcoming season.
