Phil Spencer made an appearance on a recent episode of the official Xbox Podcast where he talked about the future direction of Xbox and Microsoft after the acquisition of Activision-Blizzard. Spencer also talked about how the Game Pass is the focal point of the strategic steps of the company right now. During the episode, Spencer talked about Lies of P and how it reminds of a “gritty Pinocchio” setting.

Spencer said the team behind Lies of P did an “amazing job“, considering this particular genre has a high standard. Spencer mentioned that the game is an incredible addition to the Game Pass and increases the cloud service’s value significantly.

Lies of P makes an impressive impact

Souls-like games have their own separate fan base. This niche genre is defined by complex gameplay and overpowered bosses who would test your mettle. However, despite being an indie game, Lies of P has managed to design a game that has blown away the fans with its impressive gameplay.
