Looking after your mental health is as important as physical health. Mental health issues can happen to anybody, from a regular person to a famous internet celebrity, like Amouranth. The ‘hot-tub’ streamer once shared her mental health issues and how she overcame them.

Kaitlyn Michelle Siragusa, better known as Amouranth, is among the most famous Twitch streamers. She is well known for her ASMR and hot-tubs livestreams. Aside from being a Twitch streamer, Amouranth is a OnlyFans model and owns a gas station and a pool toy company. But to be successful, one needs to work hard, which sometimes causes mental health issues.

Amouranth speaks about loneliness

The Twitch streamer hasn’t been regularly livestreaming like she used to do. A possible reason behind this is the work stress and her situation with an abusive husband. The streamer notified her fans that she had gone on a break. But now she occasionally does the gaming or IRL streams. She is yet to do her usual hot tub and ASMR streams.

Amouranth possibly is just using this time to look after her mental health. But this isn’t the first time she had to deal with mental health issues. Earlier this year, she appeared on an episode of VICE. There she talked about many topics, including her mental health issues.

“Loneliness is something that I struggle with pretty often,” said the 29-year-old streamer. “I notice it was creeping up when I’m on, like, my 10th hour of stream, and then you kind of feel a little restless and lonely. I worry about my mental health. And, I notice myself being, like, really, really messed up mentally.”

Amouranth shared that when she was unable to deal with the lonely and restless feelings, she sought therapy from Dr. K, a psychiatrist and a Twitch streamer. Siragusa explained to Dr. K that she was getting “less bubbly.” The 28-year-old further explained that she doesn’t feel comfortable smiling, which she did in the past while doing Disney-princess parties and stuff.

After hearing the hot-tub streamer, Dr. K asked Amouranth how she was feeling daily. Siragusa responded, “I feel like a robot, a little bit.” It made her realize that she might need changes in her routine or else she might go crazy. It seems like it helped her overcome her issues.
