Skyrim: Anniversary Edition is all set to release on 11th Nov 2021, on Skyrim’s 10th Anniversary. A few days ago, Bethesda revealed a lot of other details about the upcoming edition.

Let’s have a look at the pricing and other upgrade options. Anniversary Edition will be available as a standalone purchase for $50 across e-commerce websites and physical stores.

Fans who already own Skyrim: Special Edition will have the option to upgrade it to the Anniversary Edition for just $20. In fact, the Anniversary Edition and Special Edition owners will also get a next-gen update, absolutely free of cost. The next-gen update will be available for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.

Of course, the next-gen upgrade will include enhanced visuals, faster loading times, and a lot more. Unfortunately, the next-gen upgrade is only for the Anniversary Edition and Special Edition.

Tom Mustaine, who is the co-studio director and lead producer at Bethesda, shared that the fans will get a whole bunch of new creation club content coming to the new Anniversary Edition. The special edition owners will get four creations for free.

1. Saints and Seducers- It has the largest amount of content the devs have ever created in a single creation. In fact, fans will experience a brand-new story to explore, a new set of weapons and armors, enemies, artifacts, and much more.
2. Rare Curious- This creation is a part of the “Saints and Seducers” creation. In this creation, khajiit caravans will offer new ingredients and rare imports. Eventually, by using these ingredients, players will be able to craft new weapons, positions, arrows, and poisons.
3. Survival Mode- According to the devs, this mode will offer players an immersive challenge. This mode will have an element of reality where players will have to consider hunger and exhaustion. In fact, the devs claim this mode will give a unique experience and encourage players to play this mode.
4. Fishing Mode- This mode features over 20 unique fishes and aquatic species across the entire water bodies of the game. Players can cook them, keep them in their home’s aquariums and even display them as trophies. Also, it includes fishing-related quests.

Skyrim: Anniversary Edition will also feature all the previously released creations along with the four free creations. These features are just the tip of the iceberg, and there’s a lot of new content to experience in the game.
