Today, fans can play this game almost anywhere they want, even on the go, thanks to the Nintendo Switch version.
Amidst all these ports and upgrades, CD Projekt RED also announced some new games in the series. One of those was the complete next-generation remake of The Witcher, and then there was The Witcher 4; both of these are being made using Unreal Engine 5.
And now there’s news that CD Projekt RED has outsourced a co-op game in this series to a company called The Molasses Flood. This game was also in development for a while, but it appears it has met a hurdle.
Recently, there was a leak that suggested that this game was not up to CD Projekt RED’s standards, hence their decision to cancel it. But they did not cancel it forever, they just canceled the version made by The Molasses Flood and rebooted its development.
It is not clear who would be working on this restarted game; it might be announced when the developer and publisher decide that they can reveal that information to their fans.
Fans are really not very happy about this
It appears that the fans who just found out about this new game are not very happy about this cancellation. While there are some supporters of CD Projekt RED, most really are very few in numbers.
