On November 12, 2022, xQc celebrated his 27th birthday. The Canadian streamer spent the day doing what he did best, streaming and reacting. However, fans saw a different flair to his reaction videos as they featured top celebrities from the industry wishing him ‘happy birthday.’ The list of features was long enough as xQc uploaded multiple clips, dividing his wishes. And while fans enjoyed each of them, one stood out. That birthday wish featured the ASMR Queen Amouranth, doing a popular dance. The dance’s origination and the connection with the streamer, as well as his friends, were something that gave this wish a special place. So, do you know where it all started? Well, to understand the story, we need to walk back to October 2022.

Back in October, popular streamer and content creator Ludwig was featured in a video showing off his dance moves. The video went viral in minutes, inviting streamers and content creators to try the same. It was a matter of days before streamers like Kai Cenat, Pokimane, Valkyrae, and xQc posted videos trying them. So, one could easily judge that the moves had broken the internet.
