Jimmy Donaldson, aka MrBeast, has been producing content for over ten years. He made his debut in 2012 with a dream of becoming one of the most followed YouTubers in the world. And after ten years of grinding, he achieved impressive status, crossing the 100 million subscriber mark on his main channel. Throughout his journey, the platform has extended its support in various ways, appreciating every milestone of his.

MrBeast, Ludwig, and others are quite happy with the latest YouTube update

In 2020, YouTube stormed the world with an enthralling update, YouTube Shorts. It functioned with a similar idea to TikTok, where users could upload short – 60-second video content. After TikTok’s ban in multiple countries, this was a golden ticket for the franchise as they already had a massive user base.

Top creators like MrBeast, Ludwig, MKBHD, MrWhosetheboss, and a lot more quickly hopped onto the ride, producing short content for fans. This was a great way for them to increase their reach, as the user’s attention span had already cut down drastically.

However, they faced a major issue concerning their uploads, as all their videos were featured under the same tab. As a result, users had to scroll down multiple times to reach a particular content, taking up too much of their time. So, the creators had to start another channel to keep pace.

Looking at this, YouTube understood the need for a certain update to make everyone’s lives easier. And so, they launched it starting on October 28, 2022. The new update divided a creator’s video into different sections, such as Shorts, Videos, and Live, followed by the original ones. This proved to be the game-changer as multiple YouTube creators reacted positively to it.

All in all, it was a win-win for either party with enough area of improvement for the franchise.
