Ubisoft has always tried to keep its upcoming games under secrecy. But they have never been able to do so successfully, and their upcoming games have been revealed ahead of time. Once again, they faced a similar fate with the Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade.

The French game development company unveiled multiple Assassin’s Creed projects during their Forward in September 2022. But one of those projects, Codename Jade, was made exclusively for mobile. Recently, a nearly 3-minute-long video leaked a lot about this upcoming title.

Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade would be set in Ancient China during the year 215 BCE. After Chronicles of China, it would be the second game to explore this Asian country. But would this game be similar to that 2015 released game? We might have some answers from the leak.

A Redditor named dattuu shared a video that the user claimed to have to stumbled upon on a Facebook page. That was a nearly 3-minute-long video, and it showcased the gameplay of the upcoming Assassin’s Creed mobile-exclusive title.

Possibly this leak was recorded by an early playtester. It isn’t an HD video, but was at 360p and clear enough to understand what we can expect from Codename Jade. Ubisoft claimed it to be an open-world game and we could see such gameplay.

But on a closer look, the open-world gameplay felt similar to the latest AC titles, like Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla. The game featured advanced visuals and graphics with smooth gameplay. So, the fans are going to get an outstanding experience playing it.

The game also showcased two characters: Dengling Bai – Juzi of the Mohists, and Wei Yu – Leader of Moxia, the Mohist warrior. In the gameplay, we see the player playing as Bai. Further, the player’s character was at Level 40, meaning it would be a mission from the latter part of the game.

As for the setting of the game, we could see the player running on the Great Wall of China. Also, the surrounding was in fires, and fire arrows were short everywhere. So, we can guess that this game or mission would happen during a warlike situation.
