FromSoftware’s anticipated open-world fantasy game Elden Ring is almost here. But the hype and buzz for the title are such, that fans have become impatient already. To fuel their craze, even more, a new leaked feature from the RPG has been discovered recently.

Thanks to the fresh leak, an unfinished character creator menu from Elden Ring just surfaced online. It became possible due to the closed network testing that took place last year. The leak comes from a YouTube channel named ER-SA that has constantly shared other gameplay clips from the game, in the last few weeks.

As you can see in the video above, the character creation menu seems incomplete. Most of the options in the menu are left blank despite the fact that they are operational. As is the case with any open-world game, the character creation in Elden Ring allows the players to change the gender, body form, and overall appearance of the protagonist of their choice.

At the time of its closed network testing phase, Elden Ring featured five pre-made character types. However, there was no creation menu at all, due to obvious reasons. FromSoftware didn’t want to spoil key content and details ahead of the ultimate launch.
Speaking of the character creation in Hidetaka Miyazaki’s Elden Ring, then it’s expected to have a better mode. Especially in comparison to the past entries from FromSoftware, such as Dark Souls. The latter’s PS5 remake was great but fans didn’t like its character creation abilities.
Meanwhile, FromSoftware is also rumored to be working on a whole new title. According to a recent consumer survey, the developer is reportedly busy with the sixth installment in its Armored Core franchise.
As for Elden Ring, the fantasy RPG is making its way soon, next month, on February 25, 2022. Players will get it on major platforms like Xbox Series X and Series S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC.
