Before the players can take a breather, Epic Games has already hinted at a major summer event where more updates are on their way. The fans are only settling into the new mechanics in the Battle Royale mode as more equipment and skins are speculated by many. Many prominent Fortnite fans have sparked more rumors of the Summer Event taking place next week. As many previous Fortnite updates have dropped on Tuesdays, the community is almost sure that the game update will be released on June 27.

What to expect?

There’s no shortage of theories on what to expect from the Fortnite Summer Update. The event is most expected to be called Summer Escape. While the game update is most likely to be dropped this Tuesday, the event will start on July 4.

The game update is likely to introduce new quests. Some quests include Lagoon Party Time and Make an Entrance. Fans expect more skin drops to arrive with the new update. Popular streamer Hypex has leaked even more information on the update. According to his Twitter posts, the update is coming with two new categories, “Mural” and “Propping“. A new Surfboard v2 is also on the way on June 27 for fans to unlock.

Since the hints at probable dates, fans can’t keep calm for another hour and demand more details instantly.
