Microsoft is adamant that its business expansion will not hurt Sony or restrict PlayStation players from accessing Activision titles, especially Call of Duty. Despite this, Sony is doing everything possible to keep the deal from happening.

Under such circumstances, it is understandable why Xbox is looking for opportunities to set records straight. With the Starfield release fast approaching, the announcement about the tech giant attending Gamescom is exciting news. Many fans expect updates on the ambitious Bethesda title at the convention as part of the marketing strategy.
