Amouranth is certainly one of the most loved names in the streaming community. In her comparatively short career, she has made her way to the elite list of the biggest female streamers. The Twitch icon is renowned for her bold and unfiltered personality. Moreover, her fan following goes beyond the streaming community. She is also among the top 0.1% of creators on Onlyfans. Recently, the streamer took issue with certain adult toys being sold online.

Amouranth is a sporting personality rarely seen losing control. But this time a scalper and his eBay deal have hit a nerve. The female streamer was forced to call out some sellers on eBay that were allegedly ripping off adult toys labeled under the brand Amouranth. Fans might remember the famous ‘Amouranth’s Assistant’ product launch in July 2023. Now, Amo has shared an eBay deal on the product, but for a different reason.

The Onlyfans pioneer launched her own adult toys in the month of July. Branded as “Amouranth’s Assistant”, the products were sold out in a matter of days. Months later, the products are again trending on eBay because of some anonymous scalpers.

Amo shared the details and wrote, “Someone bought a bunch of my toys and is making more money on them than I did scalping them on eBay”. “They’ve been sold out and I’m not sure if there will be a second run,” she added in response to some queries.

It is to be noted that the prices are much higher than the original cost. While the original adult toy was sold at around $90 excluding tax, the scalpers are selling the same at a shocking price of 399 dollars. There’s also a $10 additional shipping charge.

The scalper culture isn’t new in the gaming community. A similar pattern can be seen when it comes to hardware which often shows a surge in demand. Another recent example is the Starfield collector’s edition by Xbox being sold by scalpers at sky-high prices. The strategy is to simply wait for stock to run out everywhere and then sell the product at high prices.

Unfortunately for the scalpers, Amouranth was attentive enough to highlight the issue this time. It seems like the scalpers removed the deal from the site immediately after the streamer addressed the issue.
