The new Marvel’s Avengers game has been in development for a while now. The makers did drop a trailer some months back, but the game is slated for release only on September 4, 2020. What to understand from the Marvel Avengers still

The image shows Iron Man, Hulk, Thor, Ms.Marvel, and Black Widow. The only playable character missing is Steve Rogers aka Captain America. This makes sense because of the earlier trailer that ends with Captain America’s death.

Marvel’s Avengers begins at A-Day. As the Superheroes are unveiling new tech including their new Helicarrier, an attack befalls. During the incident, Captain America rushes towards the reactor on the Helicarrier, but it explodes. The trailer then skips forward five years where we see the sculpture of the deceased Captain.

The Avengers are now disbanded without their leader but it seems like Ms.Marvel will be the one that eventually brings them together. However, given the fact that Captain America is one of the playable characters in the game, it is highly unlikely he will remain dead. The character could be revived at one point or knowing Marvel, Captain America might not have died in the explosion after all.

The image also shows Black Widow donning some hi-tech costume. This could be the potential Stark tech that everyone is expecting to see in the game. Other characters would probably receive the same upgrades/tech at some point in the game.

Marvel Avengers will be released on PC, Xbox One, PS4, and Stadia. There is still no word if the game will release on the new-gen consoles. We might know more when the new trailer drops.
