In this case, it is the ‘Film Grain’ in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 creating chaos for PS5 users. Basically, having it enabled at a value above zero is resulting in bad visuals for the players. To be precise, using Film Grain right at the moment can lead to a bad experience as it’s reportedly bugged with glitches, according to fans’ observation.

By default, the Film Grain sits at a value of 10, resulting in bad textures and graphics on the screen. But disabling it and reducing the value to zero is fixing the situation for some players. On Reddit, one individual recently highlighted this problem while presenting the solution too.

It will be interesting to see what Insomniac’s team will do to offer a permanent fix going forward. For now, it’s advisable for players to either reduce the Film Grain below 5 or keep it at 0.

Spider-Man 2 is still a brilliant game

Apart from some of the instances involving inevitable issues, the game in its entirety is looking phenomenal. Being the third overall installment under Insomniac’s franchise, the title has brought back Peter Parker and Miles Morales to save the city once again.

With new features, players can now explore more possibilities with these superheroes in terms of traversing across the city. In case anyone missed it, both of them have got wing suits now! And in total, players have a total of 78 suits to check out (including digital deluxe bonus).

The list of villains has left the fans drooling over the game. Both web slingers will go up against Kraven, Lizard, Mr Negative, Mysterio, Sandman and Venom!
