Ever since The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild made its debut more than five years ago, it has amassed a huge fan following among all the Nintendo players. So much so, that now they are ready for its sequel which is scheduled to come out soon.

Initial reports indicated that Zelda 2 was going to arrive in 2022, but Nintendo came up with a sad update earlier this year, announcing a delay. While the hype may have decreased a little, the craze among fans is still high. To escalate it even further, there’s a new leak based on the upcoming second installment in the beloved saga.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 leaked on Amazon!

Shaun Weber, a popular insider on Twitter, posted a tweet on his account, revealing major information on the awaited sequel. Going by the tweet, the scooper found a listing for Zelda 2 on Amazon. However, the catch is that it was visible only on the German Amazon website and nowhere else.

Furthermore, the screenshots from the listing provide some crucial details as well for the awaited Nintendo Switch exclusive. The page showed Zelda 2’s main poster and release date, being December 31, 2022. But it’s just a placeholder date. The listing even mentioned the price of the game, which is €69.99 for Germany.

As expected, this page was later removed from the German website. If you try to go to this link now, there won’t be anything except a message reading “Temporarily out of stock. We are working hard to be back in stock as soon as possible.”

All things considered, however, it’s an interesting leak to witness, especially at a time when there’s literally no update regarding Zelda 2. Maybe the page was dedicated to the game in case it was arriving later this year, which is definitely not the situation anymore.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild sequel will release next year in early 2023. Till then, die-hard fans will need to wait for a few more months.
