Call of Duty Modern Warfare II has finally received its date of release, which is a piece of good news for all the hardcore fans of the action saga. And now the latest leak has revealed that players who were worried about the upcoming game’s future on PlayStation, due to the Microsoft-Activision deal, need not overthink anymore.

According to some data miners, Activision will reportedly give PlayStation a huge priority, once again. That is, owners of PS5 and PS4 are going to have an advantage over other console users when it comes to having early access to Call of Duty Modern Warfare II.

As reported by CharlieIntel, data miners recently discovered in-game files attached to Vanguard’s Season 3 Reloaded update. And they reportedly revealed a lot of crucial information on Modern Warfare II.

Going by the leak, then Activision will provide Call of Duty Modern Warfare II‘s open beta first on the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. This means that Activision is still giving importance to the PS exclusivity for the iconic franchise.

Although it won’t last forever, it’s great to see that the pattern is continuing this year as well. Especially when considering the fact that Microsoft will acquire the publisher by next year.   • Cross-Gen Bundle – Cross-Gen Modern Warfare II version, PS5, and PS4 early access to open beta, other items to be announced later
  • Vault Edition – Open beta early access, Battle Pass (1 Season) + 50 Tier Skips, Red Team Operator Pack (includes operators Ghost, Price, Soap, and Farah), FJX Cinder Weapon Vault, 10 hours 2XP, + 10 hours 2WXP, and Ghost Legacy Pack – 12 Operator Skins & 10 Weapon Blueprints.
