Roberto Serrano, the industry insider on Twitter, recently shared a tweet on Hogwarts Legacy. He mentioned that preorders for Portkey Games’ open-world title are already available right now. At least in the Italian region, according to the scooper. Moreover, the preorders indicate the arrival time of the title as well.

Pre-orders seemingly reveal Hogwarts Legacy’s official release date

Going by Serrano’s tweet, it can be said that Hogwarts Legacy is arriving at the end of this year. To be precise, the release date is of December 2022.

Speaking of the latest reveal, then the preorders available for Hogwarts Legacy include the versions for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Xbox Series X. Once again, for the purpose of clarification, they are currently showing up on the Italian website of Amazon.

What to expect from the magical title?

Talking about the magical title from Avalanche Software, Hogwarts Legacy will offer an immersive fictional world to the players. They will be able to explore an open world map comprising enchanting elements. They are inspired by J.K. Rowling’s series of books based on Harry Potter.

But the game won’t feature any of the characters related to the ‘Boy Who Lived’. Simply because Hogwarts Legacy is set in the 1800s, where the players will take on the role of a young student in Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
