A Twitter user has been posting screenshots of some of the crucial moments of God of War Ragnarok. These screenshots are enough to spoil many serious plot points of the game’s story. Though the main source is not available anymore, the spoilers are still circulating on the internet. 

There are many speculations about the background of these spoilers. Some believe that the user was covering the game in a media capacity but somehow leaked the contents without knowing. But whatever the reason is, the screenshots are now Viral. 

The leaked footage of the much-anticipated game is now circulating wildly around the internet. These contents are giving away some important information about the story, which is making even the devs worried. 

God of War Ragnarok leaked spoilers just months before its release 

The leaked contents aren’t very high quality, the screenshots are very low resolution. One can hardly make out the minute details. But still, it is enough for the community to understand what is going on.

According to the community, the screenshots were hinting that one of the major characters who was expected to be an antagonist in the game may not be a villain at all. Some of the fans even managed to decipher some of the crucial plot points and character deaths through the spoilers. 

The Game Director, Cory Barlog, was also aware of these spoilers spreading around the internet.

He tweeted a famous picture of Hayao Miyazaki in a tensed pose, to show how frustrated and under pressure he seemingly looked.

Other major Leaks this month

God of War Ragnarok may be one of the biggest game spoilers ever to circulate in the public before release. But it isn’t the only major leak that happened this month. At the start of this month, some physical copies of A Plague Tale: Requiem, were mistakenly shipped out.

This mistake cost the game massively, as many significant spoilers were circulated all around the internet. The team tried to take control of the situation, but they were too late. The circulation of spoilers before the release, affected the hype surrounding the new game’s story.
