God of War Ragnarok, on the other hand, is apparently supposed to release in September. This will allow the game developers some freedom with its release date. The title’s release will not be choked and suffocated by the release of other AAA titles during this period.

Fans are also surprised, claiming that the release is much, much earlier than expected. Apparently, the PlayStation 5 database has been breached. It is here only where the revelation about the game’s release date was made.

However, as excited as everyone is, it is important to not get ahead of ourselves. This data could just be a placeholder for other titles. Leaks from all sources, no matter how credible, at the end of the day are merely leaks. Any information gained through leaks should definitely be taken with a grain of salt.

While this reveal date fills everyone with excitement, nothing can be said for sure without an official update.
