Over recent weeks, devs of Epic Games have been sending special packages to Fortnite streamers. These packages contained hints of an old and iconic map to make its way back to the popular FPS looter-shooter.

During and after COVID, the player base of Fortnite has plummeted. Many fans speculate that the new update will help the game regain much of its following once again thanks to the popular older aspects of the game making their return. Now, fresh leaks by an industry insider have spilled the beans on multiple things to look forward to in the Fortnite Season 5 update.

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 5 coming with a lot of old goodies

Fortnite is usually known for some incredible collaborations. The free-to-play game has seen many popular characters from various other domains like DC Comics and Star Wars coming to Fortnite Island. The game also recently unveiled “Airphoria” an exclusive joint venture with apparel giants Nike. However, an industry insider has revealed that all of this is being ditched to make way for the iconic OG map to resurface in Season 5 of Chapter 4.

Along with the map, the insider has also tipped on what to expect for the BattlePass UI. However, players should expect to see a long list of new skins in the new Season. This will surely keep players busy trying to complete challenges and unlock their favorite cosmetics in the game.
