The Mario Kart Tour 2.12.0 update is set to roll out soon in the near future. However, the exact release date hasn’t been announced yet, but according to the official announcement, fans can expect the update to release sooner than ever.

As per the game’s official tweet, the update will increase level caps for drivers, karts, and gliders. Other than this, there will be an increase in certain items’ bonus points. Players are advised to check the in-game notifications for more details on the upcoming update.

Mario Kart Tour for mobile devices was released way back in 2019 and since then it has been subjected to a number of content updates. The game has seen a steady stream of new content and updates such as new karts, new drivers, or even a mix of returning tracks from the past Mario Kart titles for that matter. As such, the game has continued to better itself with all kinds of recent additions to the game.

Recently Mario Kart Tour has been in the spotlight as some of the widely loved race tracks are confirmed to be coming to the booster expansion pack in Mario Kart 8 deluxe. The first wave of the racetracks mostly has tracks from Mario Kart Tour – Ninja Hideaway, Tokyo Blur, and Paris Promenade.
