Nintendo has finally announced the launch date of Nintendo Direct 2022. Some fans are very hyped to see what Nintendo is planning to reveal in the upcoming Direct. Whereas, maximum users are trolling Nintendo as they already know what games developers are planning to announce in this Direct.

Nintendo will broadcast a new episode of its Direct streaming series on February 9. It also announced that Direct will be a 40-minute long presentation and will focus on the new Switch releases for the first half of 2022. Since Nintendo likes to announce exciting updates on E3, it would be exciting to see what are Nintendo’s plans for the upcoming Direct.

Community reaction on Nintendo suddenly announcing Direct and surprising its users

Fans are expecting Nintendo to announce exciting news regarding Pokemon Legends: Arceus, Splatoon 3, Kirby, and the Forgotten Land, and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. However, some Legend of Zelda fans is wondering if Breath of the Wild will even get featured in this broadcast or will be postponed to E3 2022.

Interestingly, Zelda Universe also tweeted out asking fans if they think Eiji Aonuma will appear in the upcoming Direct. Eiji Aonuma works as the project manager of The Legend of Zelda series. One user replied,” I think he’ll be here and he’ll say BOTW 2 is on track for 2022 but they’ll wait until June to fully reveal it. To keep us waiting we’ll finally get those Zelda Wii U remasters.” 

On the other hand, some fans are really looking for a 40 minutes long presentation. One tweet said, “SPLATOON 3 SUMMONING CIRCLE LETS GO.” Whereas some are wondering if they will hear anything related to Metroid Prime 4 in the presentation.

One user also expressed how he is panicking if the entire presentation is just a drill. He said,” *panics*Not a drill, not a drill, do I prepare for a possible minefield online?”
