Massive Poll Reveals the Worst Call of Duty of All Time in the Action Franchise

Call of Duty has been the most beloved FPS franchise for nearly two decades now. Ever since the first entry was launched by Activision, gaming lovers have ended up appreciating most of the titles in this saga.
But just like any other famous IP consisting of multiple offerings, COD is also no stranger to poor games. In other words, the series has also witnessed several installments that failed to live up to expectations. As a result, they turned out to be the most disliked entries in the otherwise popular franchise. And now, loyal fans have revealed their least favorite COD game ever.
Sledgehammer’s Call of Duty Vanguard is the worst of all time

Popular streamer and reputed gaming content creator ModernWarzone recently ran a poll on Twitter. While giving three options, he asked the fans to vote for the worst COD of all time. The three video games listed by him were: 2021’s Vanguard, 2016’s Infinite Warfare, and 2013’s Ghosts.
The poll turned out to be quite huge, as it witnessed votes from 95,828 people. Going by the majority of them, it looks like Call of Duty Vanguard is, in fact, the most hated installment in the history of the entire franchise. At least that’s what seems to be the case after considering the final votes of nearly one lakh individuals.

Call of Duty Vanguard is the WORST COD game of all time according to our latest poll.
• 53% of players said Vanguard was the worst.
• 30% said Infinite Warfare was the worst.

Compared to Infinite Warfare and Ghosts, Vanguard accounted for 53 percent of all the votes, thus making it the worst COD ever. All things considered, this result shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone. That’s because the game from Sledgehammer has mostly attracted negative reactions, during its lifecycle.

Probably the main reason for Vanguard receiving so much criticism is due to its setting. Not many fans liked it when it was revealed to have its story set during the era of World War. People wanted a modern take, but it wasn’t the case at all. Moreover, the experience it offered to the players wasn’t amazing either.
