Another day, another rumor, but this time the rumor brings a thrilling treat for all the Spidey hardcore fans. The latest gossips on Reddit suggest that players will be able to choose between Peter Parker and Miles Morales on the upcoming Spider-Man 2. Isn’t that crazy?

At Last month’s PlayStation showcase 2021, fans got a sneak peek of just how incredibly exciting this game will be with super cool editions like a four-armed suit for Spidey, team up with the classic Miles Morales and the ultimate villain Venom. Along with Karven and Venom, the game also features some epic appearances by Lizard and Mysterio. However, the game is still more than a year away from its release.

The Reddit leak highlighted some juicy details on what to expect from the upcoming Spider-Man 2 gameplay. This time, Insomniac is giving players the freedom to choose their own hero. Throughout the game, players can choose between Miles Morales and Peter Parker according to their strengths and weaknesses.

Spider-Man 2: Miles Morals or Peter Parker?

Whether you want to use the super cool Doc-Ock arms of Peter Parker or blast evils with Miles Moral’s venom strike, you can use both the powers in battles according to the need. The character not in use will still tag along with the main playable character, mainly to serve as backup. With the brand new tech, now players will be able to reel the webs in a grappling hook system, isn’t that super cool?

Although on the flip side of the coin, If Spider-Man 2 really implemented this feature, it makes sense that the story would be a little broken up and will ultimately lead to a non-personalized narrative. Well, this issue is certainly something to think about. Hopefully, SpiderMan 2 will be as exceptional as it appears on the trailer. Spider-Man 2 is all set to release in PlayStation 5, sometime in 2023.
