Riot Games has revealed its 11th Valorant agent. The trailer for the agent dropped just two days after the closed beta. The new agent is the Mexican Reyna, a woman with extraordinary capabilities. The 30-second trailer does not disclose much about the character, but it shows how powerful she is.

Reyna’s abilities

The trailer suggests that Reyna could be a vampire-like character with her ability to absorb the ‘soul orb’ after each kill. By the looks of it, these orbs help her unleash some of her powers. The orbs only remain for a limited time after the kill, so players should be quick to collect them.

The trailer shows two of her special moves; one to heal herself and the other that could blind Reyna’s enemy. The opponents can still destroy the blinding sphere, but given the agility of the character, she wouldn’t take much time to kill.

Reyna’s ultimate move, called ‘Empress,’ raises all her powers to the maximum. This includes a faster rate of fire, reloading, and enhanced orb skills. Given all this, Reyna seems like the most powerful character in-game. However, character developer for Valorant Morello tweeted that if Reyna doesn’t get kills, she’s nearly useless. This further confirms the vampire traits of the character. Vampires are known to be vulnerable and weak without kills, and Reyna seems similar.
