Political streamer Destiny’s wife has fired shots at Hasan Piker after he won the ‘Best News Creator’ award at YouTube Streamys. Apparently, Melina has not been in favor of Hasan receiving the award, as one could point out from her latest Twitter post. The Nebraskan’s wife stated her reasons along with a name that she felt was the deserving person for the award. 

Hasan Piker, aka HasanAbi, is one of the most followed Twitch streamers. Fans know him for his controversial opinions, political talks, and ‘just chatting’ streams as he entertains them for countless hours. Interestingly, the majority of his community relies on him for various news as he not only caters to hot topics but also covers content from the eSports world. Plus, he has multiple friends from the latter, allowing him to expand his business across genres. 

Recently, the streamer attended the YouTube Streamy Awards, bagging the best News Creator Award for the year. However, it looked like people were not pleased with him receiving the trophy, as they listed other candidates that deserved it.

Hasan Piker’s recent achievement can be looked upon to explain this as a fellow streamer’s wife has blazed guns over it. Melina Goranson posted a tweet opposing Hasan’s victory, as she felt another streamer deserved it. 

On December 7, 2022, Melina Goranson said, “When you have people like DylanBurns1776, who actually went to Ukraine and did beyond what anyone would expect, while this guy Hasan got everything wrong about that situation earlier this year.” 

Back when the Russia-Ukraine war had set the pace, multiple Twitch streamers had fallen prey to controversy as people accused them of wrong information. While some names overshadowed others, one stood out. It was none other than the popular streamer Hasan Piker who fans accused of miscommunication.

This became an issue for months but dissolved with time as Piker continued to work harder and deliver content. And finally, at the YouTube Streamys, all his hard work paid off as he won the award for his category. Still, some felt others to be worthy of stating their reasons.
