The entire Grand Theft Auto community has witnessed some of the most unexpected and historic events in the last one week. All thanks to a massive leak, probably the biggest one in gaming history, that turned everyone’s eyeballs on GTA 6, the next major installment in the iconic franchise.

While the news has overshadowed almost every other game on the internet, there was also a lot of buzz over the person who was responsible for leaking GTA 6 in the first place. Now it’s been revealed that it was none other than a teenager who somehow got access to the most precious gaming title, which is yet to even witness a proper teaser!

Social media fans react to GTA 6 leaker getting busted

While the leak was, without a doubt, a big concern for the officials at Rockstar Games, it also unleashed tons of unknown and unseen content from the in-development project. For example, the rumored footage which was revealed from the leak has reportedly mentioned that GTA 6 will certainly feature two different protagonists.

The female central character is rumored to be named Lucia while the male character will be Jason. Moreover, another speculation from an insider states that the two could be interconnected closely. It means that GTA 6’s protagonists might be introduced as a couple. However, this is just an early theory, so nothing can be confirmed in any way.

Coming onto the leak itself, though, the person who was reported to have accessed the sensitive information of the game is now finally under custody. Eventually, it was revealed that the suspicious leaker is, in fact, a 17-year-old teenager and a hacker. He was recently busted after an extended investigation.

While the individual certainly chose the wrong path and met an unfortunate fate, people on the internet were quick to drop their reactions as well as memes. The users on social media had different takes on the leaker getting caught, eventually. Taking a hilarious jab, one person wrote this: “it seems this bas**** messed with the wrong company”.
