Samus Aran’s next adventure, Metroid Dread, is all set to launch on 8 October 2021, and a brand new overview video from Nintendo is the best way to know everything about the title. Nintendo has recently shared this video to give fans a good look at what they and Samus have to face in the next adventure. If you somehow missed the multiple updates on the game, then this overview video is the only source of information you need.
Basically, it provides the complete picture of what to expect from the game, from movement to abilities to enemies. Shortly after Nintendo announced this upcoming Metroid Dead, Yoshio Sakamoto (franchise director) explained what the upcoming Dread can deliver in this modern age.

He said, “Maybe this sense of fear. As I talked about before, younger gamers who have not experienced the series may before may look at that fear-based gameplay and want to give it a shot,” as quoted by Polygon.
First things first, the trailer shows Samus’ mission in an unexplored world named ZDR. Here in this world, she has to travel through multiple areas on a sprawling map. There are new and improved moves, such as spider magnetic ability and slides. She can use these abilities to climb hard walls.

Samus’s abilities and enemies in Metroid Dread
Samus’s ultimate ability is still shining. She has her usual miles, counterattacks and arm move to use against the evils. The trailer also shows some enemies Samus will be facing in this adventure.
EMMI (Extraplanetary Multiform Mobile Identifier) looks quite interesting as she pursues her (Samus) after the defeat. Looks like Samus has to use every ability she has to escape from this danger. To escape, Samus can use two unique abilities that include dashing and going invisible. The invisibility power looks very intimidating, to be honest.
There will be different types of EMMI with different abilities and strengths. Other enemies are also around, hiding in the shadows, including the old Kharid from Super Metroid. The overview trailer looks quite promising.
