Microsoft Claims Recent Rating of Minecraft for Xbox Series X Is “Not Indicative of Any New Versions”

Looks like Minecraft fans will receive bad news in the coming times. This is because Microsoft has dropped almost a bomb on Minecraft fans revealing an exclusive detail from their recent study.
Minecraft’s always brought exclusive improvisations to make the gaming experience better than it was before. However, Microsoft‘s recent report claims that this popular game might not bring any more developments in the title.
What is Xbox’s recent claim about Minecraft?

Recently Minecraft has been made exclusive for Xbox consoles according to the Entertainment Software Ratings Board of the United States. Now while asking about future plans with Minecraft, in a recent interview Microsoft said-“Given the number of platforms and geographies in which Minecraft is available, we periodically go through rating reviews and updates with different regional boards,”, Microsoft’s executive further added how their study of this sandbox game’s ratings do not imply that the title will have any more developments or platform availability in near future.

As of now, players can access Minecraft on Xbox Series X/S. However, the game will be Xbox One’s version, which players can download and access on their latest Xbox X/S Series through backwards compatibility. Microsoft also spoke about how the team is trying to improve ray tracing on Xbox consoles after the optimized version of the game is shipped for Xbox Series X/S- “This early prototype code has been removed from Preview and doesn’t signal near future plans to bring raytracing support to consoles,”

Developed by Mojang Studio, Minecraft is a 3D survival game built on a sandbox platform, which received immense love from global fans. Originally invented by Markus Persson in 2009, Minecraft offers one of the exclusive gaming championships for players as well.
