Microsoft and Sega are all set to work together on a project called Super Game. Partnerships among video game companies are on a rise, and on 1st Nov 2021, both the companies announced this alliance through which they will work on brand new games for the global audience.

This time, the goal is to reach the maximum audience across the globe by leveraging cloud technology. As confirmed by Sega, it will develop brand new AAA games for the global audience by using Microsoft’s Azure cloud technology.

However, any other details like title names, release dates, and prices are yet to be announced. But, there’s one thing to be sure about: the upcoming releases will support cloud gaming. And eventually, fans will be able to play these games anywhere in the world.

It looks like Sega is ready to explore the cloud gaming market like Samsung and Netflix. However, there are other market leaders like Geforce Now, Shadow, Vortex, and Project Xcloud, and Sega must come up with something solid in order to pull ahead of the competition.

Microsoft, Sega, and more

According to Microsoft’s corporate vice president Sarah Bond, they are also very excited about this recent partnership with Sega. And, in the coming future, they will integrate gaming and cloud technology to deliver an immersive gaming experience.

However, this is not the first time that these two companies are working together.
