Recently, the head of gaming at Microsoft and Xbox boss, Phil Spencer, took to Twitter to reveal the ambitious deal with the Switch maker. He wrote that after the merger with Activision Blizzard King, they will offer CoD games on the Nintendo consoles for a duration of an entire decade.

It’s because the recently announced deal between Microsoft and Nintendo won’t close until 2023. This means that the Switch 2 or the new Nintendo hardware might be revealed within the duration of the next three years only. Because making a fresh device available after that won’t make sense for the 10-year Call of Duty promise.
Hence, the Mario maker may come up with a massive update either by the end of next year or in 2024 in order to launch a Switch 2. That’s the possibility as of now, provided there’s no uncertain situation happening in the coming months. What are your thoughts on this entire scenario so far based on Call of Duty and its multi-platform availability?
