Microsoft is trying hard to convince the CMA and FTC that buying Activision is its way to stay relevant in the market and not put unfair pressure on its competition. There have been accusations that Microsoft is buying Activision so it can make big games like Call of Duty exclusive to their platforms Xbox and PC.

Exclusives have been Sony’s main strength for years

Sony’s Playstation has been surviving this console war for so long only because of its exclusives. Games like God of War, Uncharted, the Last of Us, and Gran Turismo, are only a few of the numerous exclusives that Sony worked on over the years to make their platform stand out.
