Now, the Xbox owners have even made their statement of no “cheating” tolerance policy. A piece of news that came as a surprise for even all the Call of Duty fans when the game started banning accounts for unfair means. 

The community has frequently raised the issue of some gamers using unfair means for the Call of Duty gameplay. This includes hacking into the interface or cheap developers’ copying techniques. But this time the consequences for the same won’t be soft. According to the latest viral report, Call of Duty makers banned more than 14,000 player accounts questioning their gameplay credibility in just the last 24 hours. 

Call of Duty Brings A No More Cheating Policy!

The developers finally broke their long-held radio silence on the cheap hacks used by some, and how? The game scanned for the accounts using unfair means to progress in the gameplay. The detection led to over 14,000 accounts being banned for cheating and hacking into the interface. Surprisingly, these numbers were sustained in just a matter of 24 hours. Most of the accounts specifically belonged to the popular Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 & Warzone. A Twitter user shared the news on the platform. 

It doesn’t seem like this might be the end of the “anti-cheat” campaign. This might just be the beginning of the much-awaited Call of Duty new era. Activision Blizzard, the developers of the franchise have often criticized such cheap tactics being used in the game. Moreover, the no-tolerance attitude seems like a direct target to cheat developers at the source.
