So it was obvious to see the hype going on the next level, leading up to the Minecraft movie day itself.
However, what everyone eventually got was a delay. And one can say, for gamers, it hurts even more, because of the sentiments attached to a video game IP. And in the case of Minecraft, it is just inexplicably huge, to say the least.
There was no Minecraft movie on its scheduled date of March 4, 2022. In fact, a lot of people were frustrated after witnessing this big ‘snub’, since it was totally missing.
As soon as they found they that no nearby theater was playing the Minecraft film, their angst came out on Twitter, as expected. The social media was filled with hilarious memes and angry tweets from all the die-hard lovers of the 3D sandbox gaming series.
