The Minecraft movie day turned into a frustrating ride for many hardcore fans who were curiously waiting for its release on March 4, 2022. To their disappointment, the film was nowhere to be seen.
In case you missed it, there was an announcement from Minecraft, back in 2019, about a movie based on the insanely popular 3D sandbox gaming saga. The tweet, from nearly three years ago, stated it would be coming to theaters on March 4.

It was in April 2019 when people got to know there was an actual film in the works based on their favorite virtual gaming title. Additionally, the tweet from that year also carried a full confirmation about its arrival in 2022.

So it was obvious to see the hype going on the next level, leading up to the Minecraft movie day itself.
However, what everyone eventually got was a delay. And one can say, for gamers, it hurts even more, because of the sentiments attached to a video game IP. And in the case of Minecraft, it is just inexplicably huge, to say the least.
There was no Minecraft movie on its scheduled date of March 4, 2022. In fact, a lot of people were frustrated after witnessing this big ‘snub’, since it was totally missing.
As soon as they found they that no nearby theater was playing the Minecraft film, their angst came out on Twitter, as expected. The social media was filled with hilarious memes and angry tweets from all the die-hard lovers of the 3D sandbox gaming series.
