Elden Ring is nowhere near in the Most played Games in Q1 2022

What remained shocking to him was the ranking of the recent Japanese video game Elden Ring. Elden Ring was one of the most anticipated games of this year, as the game took about five years to develop. Mat also mentioned it in the post, saying, ‘Elden Ring ranked 20th. Ahead of it were games like Rocket League, World of WarCraft, and Skyrim.’

Drastic Change in the gaming industry!
The ones who have been around in this industry know the love the mentioned games have. The leaderboard champion, Minecraft, was released 13 years back but is the most played game in the United States. On the other hand, Rockstar’s GTA 5 came out nine years back, but the game still has over 169,000 daily viewers.
