While being stuck in transit, Ed Boon tweeted that the waiting is getting to him and fans can help out by asking him questions about anything. One curious fan reached out to Boon and asked about the possible length of Mortal Kombat 1’s story. Ed Boon clearly answers “Similar to MKX-11“.

Mortal Kombat 1 is supposedly a reset to the entire MK timeline. A number of characters are returning in MK1. This means fans will once again have a lot of new things to take in. But if Mortal Kobat 1 has the same story length as its predecessors, then fans speculate around six hours of gameplay.
