One curious fan reached out to Boon and asked about the possible length of Mortal Kombat 1’s story. Ed Boon clearly answers “Similar to MKX-11“.

Mortal Kombat 1 is supposedly a reset to the entire MK timeline. A number of characters are returning in MK1. This means fans will once again have a lot of new things to take in. But if Mortal Kobat 1 has the same story length as its predecessors, then fans speculate around six hours of gameplay.
