UFC 4 has seen its latest round of fighter updates. The latest updates are based around the performances of UFC 254 and were made by Daniel Cormier, as always.

UFC 254 was one of the biggest cards of the year. While the PPV numbers suffered because of the timing of the card, it was one of the biggest hits on social media. Khabib Nurmagomedov is a superstar and his main event fight against Justin Gaethje for the UFC Lightweight title was one of the most anticipated fights of the year.

However, Gaethje would fall to Khabib via submission in the fight. As a result, Khabib’s training partner Cormier has thus given his teammate a slight increase in submission offense. Meanwhile, Gaethje has been rewarded with an increase in kick power.

There have been changes made based on performances throughout the card. While most fighters got a positive jump, two fighters also got negative ratings. First, Walt Harris who got a downgrade in body strength after a body kick caused him to lose to Alexander Volkov. As a result, Volkov was rewarded with a boost in kick power.

The second player to go down was “Cowboy” Alex Oliveira, who missed weight and was penalized by DC with a body strength downgrade.

Meanwhile, the biggest upswing was had by Tai Tuivasa. Tuivasa is on the comeback trail after his victory over Stefan Struve on the prelims of UFC 254. While he entered the card on a three-fight skid, Tai bounced back with his uppercut KO of Struve. Due to this, DC gave Tuivasa a massive boost in striking. And so, the Maori fighter has jumped half a star in his striking rating.
