Brace Yourselves Call of Duty Fans, for the Haunting Event Is Set to Bring New Boss Fights to Warzone 2 and DMZ

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 aren’t dead yet. With all the attention on CoD: Modern Warfare 3 right now, many fans fear the upcoming game’s predecessor will be overshadowed. However, that isn’t the case just yet as the devs definitely have some plans for Warzone 2 and DMZ (demilitarization zone).

CoD: Modern Warfare 3 is releasing next month. Naturally, the latest entry to the popular mil-sim is the talk of the town right now. The trailers looked great, and the game promises a lot of upgrades on MW2. While the upcoming release has its allure, the previous title still has something up its sleeve. The Haunting Event will be the final update for Modern Warfare 3.

Soul Harvester Event to kick-off this Tuesday

There are millions of players who still are a regular on older CoD titles. Every fan has their own preferences and CoD lobbies are usually full of players. Likewise, MW2 also has its own fans who aren’t quite ready to move on just yet. Needlessly to say, they still have something to look forward to this week that can keep things interesting.

The Haunting Event starts this Tuesday (October 17), and Warzone 2 and DMZ fans are in for a treat. The event will bring new boss fights to Warzone 2 and DMZ. With six special bosses, players will also have the chance to win exciting rewards. Haunting your rounds, The Butcher, Swamp Creature, The Pharaoh, UFO, Ghost Train, and Evil Spirits can be chanced upon. These bosses will be roaming the maps posing unique challenges.

These bosses will compel you to devise new strategies and hone your skill set. Exclusive calling cards and weapon blueprints can be unlocked by defeating these bosses. Fans who pre-order Modern Warfare 3 can unlock the Soul Harvester blueprint for the event. This weapon comes with additional soul bonuses during the event.

Inner grim reaper to unleash in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

In addition to the new bosses, players can also partake in the Soul Capture event. Eliminated players in DMZ and Warzone 2 are empty vessels that carry their souls. After they’re eliminated, their enemies can collect souls in the upload station. In the Soul Capture event, the collection will be seamless and you can earn bigger rewards with more souls.

Hop on Al Mazrah or Vondel to face larger monsters and win big by subduing them. The new event will make sure that Warzone 2 and DMZ fans are left out with MW3’s release fast approaching and we can’t wait to try out the new challenges for ourselves.
