Nintendo Switch exclusive Monster Hunter Rise is the sixth installment in the Monster Hunter series after Monster Hunter: World. Capcom developed and published the action-filled role-playing title, which released on March 26, 2021.
Monster Hunter Rise is set in the village of Kamura, which is threatened by an event known as ‘The Rampage’. The game Monster Hunter Rise is a ‘lite’ version of Monster Hunter World, with all the mechanics and monsters that made the original game great now in one portable size. Here, you get all the fun weapons, combo systems and more, in a slightly smaller world.
The surreal graphics of the various beasts combined with the compatibility of a Nintendo Switch has ensured a record-breaking debut. The Famitsu Japanese charts week ending 28th March saw Monster Hunter Rise end up at the top of the charts.
