The new trailer shows off Shujinko’s adaptive fighting style
The Shao Kahn trailer shows many new members making a comeback in Mortal Kombat 1. Along with Shao Kahn, familiar faces like Sindel, Shujinko, and Motaro also appear in the trailer. Their interactions are exactly what you expect from a Mortal Kombat game. Shao Kahn faces off with Raiden at one point and their fight is pretty intense, given how well Raiden manages to hold off the champion of the Outworld.

It looks like Shujinko’s attacks vary depending on who you’re fighting. At one point, we see him copy Shao’s overhead axe swing and then we see him copy Sindel’s overhead kick.
Pretty cool idea and very appropriate for Shujinko.

However, Shujinko’s fighting style is something that has caught the eyes of a keen fan. While fighting Shao Kahn, Shujinko seems to replicate Kahn’s overhead axe blow movement as the aspiring sorcerer lends a helping hand to Raiden.
