Mortal Kombat 1 will release on September 14, 2023. The initial looks of the game are promising and the lore is supposedly getting an expansion to justify multiple new characters. A new leak suggests that along with your regular Kitana, Mileena, Sub Zero, and Scorpion, characters from other universes will be available to play in Mortal Kombat 1.

The hype for the game is at an all-time high as the leak hints at the inclusion of some names including the mighty Doomslayer from the DOOM franchise. Moreover, appearances from popular faces from the DC Comics universe are in the game. If that wasn’t enough, fans are even more excited to learn about some of the cameo fighters from the leak.

Mortal Kombat 1 promises a superb roster

Mortal Kombat 1 will be the 12th entry to NetherRealm Studios‘ fan-beloved fighting game franchise. Initial trailers and announcements have revealed that the game takes place in an alternative universe that’s created by the fire god Liu Kang. Multiple new gameplay modes, mechanics, and combat styles are likely to be introduced in MK1.

The Umgadi Trailer also revealed new information on the Umgadi warrior priestesses who are responsible for the protection of the royal family and of princesses Kitana and Mileena. The official pack roster trailer also showcased multiple new faces that are coming to Mortal Kombat 1. The list included characters like Omni Man, Homelander, and Peacekeeper.  The new inclusions have already created ecstacy among fans and they believe that they are in for a treat. Some epic moments involving the beloved characters could come to fruition.

Now, another leak suggests that there are going to be even more characters available for players.

Worlds collide in Mortal Kombat 1

A Twitter post revealed another list of names that will be available as playable characters in Mortal Kombat 1. The list includes some fearsome names including the assassin master Deathstroke from the DC universe and also signals the return of Noob Saibot. Yet, two names have fans excited the most: Harley Quinn and Doomslayer. The genius doctor, brainwashed by Gotham’s clown Prince, has several tricks up her sleeve that can flatten even the most formidable opponents.

Moreover, the name Doomslayer will strike fear no matter which monster dares to stand against the DOOM universe’s master. Rain, Drahmim, and Hsu Haoh are speculated to have Kameo roles in the upcoming game.
