The translated version reads, “Travel through the realms of Mortal Kombat facing invasions of each season in an all new single player experience.” To begin with, Mortal Kombat 1 will not be using the battle pass system currently being used by a lot of titles. To fans unfamiliar with the series, there are different worlds in the Mortal Kombat universe. These worlds can invade and take over each other. This is where the Mortal Kombat comes in. One guess as to how the Invasion system might work is one world for every season. This means with every season, players have the chance to defend the world which developers decide. Consequently, this could spell specific missions and fights to complete. Additionally, each new world can come with its own playable character roster.
