Since its release, Mortal Kombat was able to sell 80 million copies!
The game is setting a monumental milestone for its competitors with this remarkable feat. But, Super Smash Bros from Nintendo was able to sell 72. 39 million copies worldwide. This is just a shy short of 8 million compared to the #1 position holder Mortal Kombat. Other games in the top tier sales list include Tekken with 54+ million, Street Fighter with 49 million, and Soul Caliber with 17 million.
