As of now, we know nothing about the exact details of the actual storyline. Last year’s unexpected and biggest gaming leak on GTA 6 revealed that there will be two protagonists in the open-world entry. Also, the female will be named Lucia while her male partner is known as Jason.

But now, a theory has been proposed by a Grand Theft Auto franchise lover for the upcoming title. On Reddit, an individual, known as u/SpaceGhostBurp, recently shared a lengthy post explaining the entire story for GTA 6. No, it’s not a leak but an idea regarding a possible storyline.

What is the story of GTA 6?

Considering the aforementioned idea, for a second, it looks like players will initially take over the character of Jason. Per the Redditor, he is “in his mid to late 20’s from Vice City. Jason is the definition of an underachiever. He can never seem to hold a job for more than a few months, and as a result, he resorts to committing petty crimes for some easy cash”.

After getting frustrated with his behavior, Jason’s parents give him three options: “either join the family fishing business, go to college, or get kicked out of their home.” After deciding to join the family business, he comes across a woman who climbs onto his boat from the water. He shoots her out of instinct but later rushes her to the hospital. “It’s revealed that she’s a woman in her early 20’s named Lucia, who was fleeing Cuba after the rest of her family was executed to start a new life in Vice City,” reads the post above.

The story tries to establish the fact that Lucia is an immigrant. Moreover, the theory also reveals that the game may feature Lucia and Jason in having a “Franklin and Michael relationship where you agree to work together in order to pay off” a certain debt. Franklin and Michael are two key characters in the fifth main entry where the latter becomes a sort of mentor to the former.
