We are in the last month of 2022, and as the ritual goes on, YouTube has released the list of the top 10 US-based creators on the platform, summing up the performance of the particular year. And unsurprisingly, Jimmy “MrBeast” Donaldson is among the top 10 American YouTube creators thanks to his Willy Wonka Chocolate Factory video.

MrBeast is no unknown name to anybody. He is a 24-year-old North Carolina-based YouTuber, but he’s the most prominent content creator on YouTube. Donaldson has over 114 million subscribers on the red platform and is famous for his extravagant videos, where he hosts crazy challenges or over-the-top giveaways.

YouTube recently released a list revealing the top creators, videos, and breakouts from the United States of America. And it would be impossible for MrBeast to not make it into the group. The 24-year-old might be considered one of the most successful creators from America this year.
The list that revealed the top 10 trending videos, showed that MrBeast was in fifth place. His video “I Built Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory!” was also the fifth most trending YouTube video. Donaldson released this video on June 5, and it currently has over 127 million viewership and 4.8 million likes.

The videos which managed to outperform Donaldson were Technoblade’s emotional message that was recorded by his father, Guardian’s uncensored clip of the Will Smith and Chris Rock incident at the Oscars, Dream’s epic face reveal, and the mind-blowing NFL halftime Show.
Jimmy might have missed the top spot on the Trending Video list, however, he has aced the list of Top Creators from America. He grabbed first place on this list for the third consecutive year. This achievement becomes more deserving as he recently also became the most-subscribed individual YouTuber, overtaking PewDiePie.
Jimmy Donaldson can be the Creator of the Year
Besides the list of the top creators in the US, MrBeast can also become the Creator of the Year soon. YouTube will soon host the 12th edition of the Streamy Awards on December 4. Donaldson was nominated alongside Addison Rae, Logan Paul, Dream, and Airrack for the Creator of the Year award.
The 24-year-old record-breaker is also the favorite to win this honorable award. If he does, it would also be his third consecutive Streamy Award for Creator of the Year.
