MrBeast is currently on a roll with multiple successful feats. The YouTuber has reached the second-most subscribed channel spot and is now targeting the top position. Furthermore, his business venture Feastables has reached new heights commercially. Looks like the desire to create unique content has rubbed off on the YouTuber’s teammates too.

Recently Karl Jacobs, a core member of the channel and close friend of MrBeast, announced his new venture. With this new collaboration, he is targeting to entertain a new category of people. And his days with the YouTuber and Minecraft helped start this venture.

A close friend of MrBeast, Karl Jacobs, launches a comic book series

Karl Jacobs has been a regular appearance in the videos of MrBeast. Furthermore, he is also widely known for his appearance in Minecraft videos alongside Dream. Now Jacobs has started a comic book series titled Time Traveler Tales. The comic series will follow his Minecraft series, Tales From the SMP.

Karl Jacobs has teamed up with veteran comics writer Dave Scheidt, artists Kelly and Nichole Matthews of Kickingshoes, letterer Joamette Gil, and cover artist Wendi Chen for his comic book series. Furthermore, Dark Horse Comics, known famously for Umbrella Academy and Sin City, has picked the publishing of Time Traveler Tales.

The series reportedly spans five full-color issues, with the first one coming out on December 6, 2023. Time Traveler Tales will be available in print on all major comic book stores and also in digital format.

Other business ventures of Karl Jacobs

While fans predominantly know Karl Jacobs as a face in MrBeast videos, the content creator has other ventures too. He recently collaborated with the popular shoe brand Vans. Jacobs re-imagined their classic Slip-On sneakers and Old Skool shoes in his own imagination which are available via Vans.

Along with that, he has joined Misfits Gaming, a US-based gaming powerhouse. He has joined the Esports organization as their Creative Executive and Co-owner. Furthermore, Jacobs actively hosts a podcast alongside YouTubers Sapnap and GeorgeNotFound. With so many successful ventures at hand, fans have started to comment Jacobs is following in the footsteps of MrBeast.
