MrBeast gives his opinion on Selfeater

Gwent is a card game based on the lore and mythology of the Witcher series. A game of Gwent comprises three rounds, and the player must win two of them to win the game. The aim of each round is to simply secure more points than your opponent. Players keep laying down cards until one of them passes, indicating they would expend any more cards in the current round. Once both players pass the round ends.

So how did MrBeast get onboard the Gwent hype? Well, he joined CDPR Gwent caster Thea Booysen over on her YouTube channel for an exciting matchup. Thea, who goes by TheaBeasty on the red platform, asked Jimmy if he thought Selfeater was the most beautiful card in the game. To which a clearly startled Jimmy replied “Is he eating the toe? Oh my gosh!”

Selfeater is a relict card with its illustration showing a creature biting off his own toe, which eventually grows back. Understandably, it can be a jarring experience for someone who’s new to the setting.

However, MrBeast quickly collected himself and, after a light ponder, responded with “Yeah… it’s adorable”. TheaBeasty has used the hilarious incident to announce that MrBeast has confirmed the relict creature is adorable. As reflected in the video title.

The Gwent fandom now has a reason to look forward to more MrBeast Gwent play throughs just to hear his opinions on the appearance and general vibe of more creatures from the game.
