MrBeast was quick to notice the trend for Squid Game and easily capitalized on it by launching his own ‘Squid Games’. No, the games weren’t as lethal as the show but were surely fun along with a huge cash pool!

It seems like MrBeast is looking to continue with this trend and is quite excited about Squid Games’ Season 2 like anyone of us!

MrBeast’s first Squid Game video was a catapult for him to reach heights of success

The first Squid Game video was indeed one of the career milestones for MrBeast. It had amassed more than 257 million views, making it the most viewed video on his channel. He had replicated the exact same games as in the series, except, no killings. There were other ways of elimination in the game. For example, there was a motion detector that burst during red light-green light.

The video had a total of 456 participants who had a chance to win $456,000 if they lasted until the finish.

The video was important for him to catapult his channel towards the 100 million subscribers mark. Currently, at 96 million, this video did give Jimmy a much-needed boost for his career.
